How Bonus Bear Mega888 Works
Bonus Bear Mega888 uses a standard 5×3 reel layout with 25 paylines.
Winning combinations are formed according to the payline patterns shown in the game instructions. The Park Ranger is the highest-paying regular symbol, followed by the skunk, bee and picnic basket.
The basic game works like this:
- Choose your bet.
- Spin the reels.
- Match symbols across the paylines.
- Watch for the Bonus Bear Wild.
- Land Bear Wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 to trigger Free Games.
- Land three or more Beehive symbols to trigger the Honey Feature.
The game also includes Autoplay, although the exact controls can vary depending on the Mega888 version.
Bonus Bear Wild and 15 Free Games
The Bonus Bear acts as the Wild symbol.
It can substitute for regular symbols but does not replace the Beehive Scatter.
The Bear Wild appears on reels 2, 3 and 4. When a Bear lands on all three of those reels at the same time, the Free Games feature starts.
The feature awards 15 Free Games, and all qualifying wins during those spins are multiplied by 3x. The feature can also be retriggered if the required Bear Wild combination appears again.
How the Bonus Bear Honey Feature Works
The Honey Feature is the second main bonus in Bonus Bear Mega888.
It starts when three or more Beehive symbols appear anywhere on the reels.
Once the feature begins, the Bear moves to a screen containing five trees. You choose a tree for the Bear to climb and search for Honey Pots.
Each Honey Pot reveals a prize. The feature continues until the ending condition is reached, such as finding the Beehive.
The tree selections do not provide a reliable strategy for predicting which option contains the better prize.
Bonus Bear Beehive Scatter
The Beehive acts as the Scatter symbol.
Unlike the Bear Wild, the Beehive does not need to appear on a standard payline to activate its main feature.
Three or more Beehives trigger the Honey Feature.
The paytable also lists direct Scatter payouts:
| Beehive Symbols | Listed Payout |
|---|---|
| 2 | 1x |
| 3 | 5x |
| 4 | 20x |
| 5 | 100x |
Check the current Mega888 paytable for how these values are calculated against your wager.
Bonus Bear Mega888 Paylines
Bonus Bear Mega888 uses 25 paylines.
The game instruction screen displays all 25 patterns across the five reels.
Some paylines run straight across the rows, while others move between different positions on each reel.
Before playing, check:
- All 25 payline patterns
- Current bet per line
- Total bet
- Wild rules
- Scatter payouts
- Free Games trigger
- Honey Feature rules
Understanding the paylines makes it easier to see why a particular reel result produced a payout.
Bonus Bear Payout Table

What Is the Bonus Bear Mega888 RTP?
Bonus Bear Mega888 is commonly listed with an RTP of 95.17%. Multiple current slot databases report the same figure.
RTP means Return to Player. It is a theoretical long-term percentage calculated across a very large number of game rounds.
It does not mean that every RM100 played will return RM95.17.
A single session can finish above or below the theoretical RTP.
For a general explanation of how RTP works, see the UK Gambling Commission RTP guide.
If the current Mega888 game information displays a different RTP, use the figure shown inside the game.
What Does Medium Volatility Mean?
Bonus Bears is commonly classified as a medium-volatility slot.
Volatility describes the general pattern of payouts rather than what will happen on the next spin.
Low-volatility games usually produce smaller wins more often, while high-volatility games tend to have wider gaps between meaningful wins.
Medium volatility falls between those two patterns.
However, it cannot be used to predict when the next win or bonus will appear.
Does Bonus Bear Have a Progressive Jackpot?
Bonus Bears is generally listed as a non-progressive slot.
The 5,000x figure shown in the paytable comes from landing five Park Ranger symbols on a qualifying payline. It should not be confused with a progressive jackpot that increases as players place wagers.
Can You Use a Strategy to Win Bonus Bear?
There is no betting pattern that guarantees a Bonus Bear win.
For example, several losing spins do not mean the Free Games feature is due to appear. Likewise, seeing two Bear Wilds does not make a third Bear more likely on the next spin.
Instead, focus on the parts you can control:
- Set a spending limit.
- Choose a bet size that fits that limit.
- Check the total bet before spinning.
- Avoid increasing your bet to recover previous losses.
- Take breaks during longer sessions.

How Bonus Bear Compares With Other Mega888 Slots
